The Works of Luigi Nono
Published by Casa Ricordi with the support and collaboration of the Luigi Nono Archive Foundation (Venice) and Mirage Lab (University of Udine)
Editorial Committee:
André Richard, Nuria Schoenberg Nono, Jürg Stenzl, Alvise Vidolin, Marco Mazzolini

Started in the early 1990s, Casa Ricordi’s publication of the works of Luigi Nono has two main focuses:

1. The publication of scores containing live electronics;
2. The recovery, preservation and restoration of magnetic tapes.

This includes 14 very different works, from Omaggio a Emilio Vedova (1960) and La fabbrica illuminata (1964) to Prometeo (1981-1985) and La lontananza nostalgica utopica futura (1988-1989). The aim of the project is to find the right way to make this music available to performers and to grant the possibility its own of performing it. It took almost 30 years of research, with different steps, to complete the editorial plan, and now finally the last two missing works, Guai ai gelidi mostri and Caminantes…Ayacucho are under production
