Francesca Verunelli has won the Ernst von Siemens Composer’s Prize 2020, awarded each year by the Siemens Foundation to three up-and-coming talents.

The awards ceremony is slated for May 11 at the Prinzregententheater in Munich. Music by this year’s three winning composers will be performed at the event. Kicking off the night: video shorts of the winners by director Johannes List.

The ceremony will be streamed live on the Siemens Foundation website as well as on the Bayerischer Rundfunk website.
