In 2017, the Swedish-German composer Lisa Streich was one of the young talents supported by the Roche Young Commissions, and this summer she returns to the Lucerne Festival as a globally successful composer. As composer-in-residence 2024, Lisa is featured in numerous events including the world premiere of her fanfare REIGEN [Lucerne Festival Contemporary Orchestra (LFCO), Johanna Malangré], the Swiss premieres of her new trumpet concerto MEDUSE (Simon Höfele, LFCO and Beat Furrer), her orchestra work ISHJÄRTA (LFCO, Ruth Reinhardt), and her ensemble piece FRANCESCA (Ensemble Helix, Beat Furrer), a live interview, and a podcast series.

This year's Summer Festival also features fellow Ricordi composers Lucia Ronchetti with the Swiss premiere of her new opera Der Doppelgänger, and Hannah Kendall with her ensemble piece shouting forever into the receiver: a Swiss premiere presented as part of the Contemporary-Conducting Program.
