Premiered at Munich’s Musica Viva festival by cellist Nicolas Altstaedt and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Liza Lim’s new cello concerto A Sutured World has went on to equally enthrall listeners at the Cello Biennale in Amsterdam.

On 16 October 2024, the world premiere of Silvia Colasanti's new opera L'ultimo viaggio di Sindbad, a musical tale in seven pictures, with a libretto by Fabrizio Sinisi freely inspired by texts by Erri De Luca, will be performed. The opera is commissioned by the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, and staged in collaboration with RomaEuropa Festival.

The 68th International Festival of Contemporary Music in Venice will run from 26 September to 11 October 2024, directed by Lucia Ronchetti. The programme will feature 12 composers from the Universal Music Publishing Classics & Screen rosters and catalogues.

This past summer and continuing through the fall, Kevin Puts' Contact will be performed on tour by Time for Three, while Joshua Bell will also lead the Academy of St Martin in the Fields on tour performing Puts' Earth.
