Running August 11-23 in Pesaro, it’s the 40th edition of ROF, the Rossini Opera Festival.
This year’s star-studded program includes two new productions,
Semiramide and
L’equivoco stravagante; a repeat performance of
Demetrio e Polibio;
Il viaggio a Reims performed by students at the Alberto Zedda Accademia Rossiniana; a Gala celebration featuring some of today’s greatest singers of Rossini; the cantata
La riconoscenza; Soirées musicales; two symphony-opera concerts; two bel canto performances; a new episode in the Rossinimania cycle.
