Poppe: Composer Portrait at Eight Bridges

Cologne's Eight Bridges Festival has selected Enno Poppe as this year's portrait composer. Between May 4 and 12, the renowned festival will present ten works by Poppe, including the full-evening pieces Prozession (Ensemble Muskfabrik) and Speicher (EnsembleKollektiv Berlin), an audiovisual installation featuring Wald as well as two world premieres in one day: Strom for François-Xavier Roth and his Gürzenich Orchestra and Laub presented by Ensemble Recherche.
