The German Music Council's Conductors' Forum supports young conductors at the beginning of their career. Ricordi Berlin is proud to support the "MAESTROS OF TOMORROW", scholarship recipients who reach the second stage of the program, by offering a free premium account to Newzik – an innovative music reading app that aids in the organization and performance of digital scores. In addition, Ricordi provides free digital perusal scores via Newzik, and will offer individual consultations with the Berlin promotion team as well as contributions to the Conductors' Forum workshops.

The nationwide German support program “Conductors’ Forum” targets future generations of conductors. With a view to prepare highly gifted young conductors for future leadership positions in the national and international music world, the program organizes master classes, assistant positions and sponsored concerts for its scholarship holders. Above all, it is a forum throughout Germany allowing a continual dialogue between the young generation of conductors and renowned conducting personalities. The Conductors’ Forum is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media.

Newzik

Newzik is a user-friendly app for professionals and music enthusiasts. The app allows users to import scores in any digital format (PDF, TXT, or MusicXML), to add different media including YouTube videos, to annotate, and to rearrange single pages or different parts of the score. Alongside providing sheet music of exemplary quality, Newzik offers a special mode to help performers on stage to focus exclusively on the music. The Newzik app is available in the app store and can be installed on iPads only. Subscription fee applies (for premium app only).
