The world premiere of the new critical edition of Giuseppe Verdi’s Le trouvère (curated by David Lawton) comes to the 18th edition of Festival Verdi, in Parma. The performance, scenery and lights are under the direction of Robert Wilson.

This October 27, as part of the third edition of the Bologna Modern Festival, cellist David Geringas performs three pieces by Silvia Colasanti, which she wrote for him. The most recent is Tango for David.

Nikolaus Brass’ new opera Die Vorübergehenden (The Passers-By) was premiered by the Bavarian State Opera in July 2018.

In July 2018, Joseph Phibbs’s opera debut Juliana received its premiere at the Cheltenham Music Festival.
