This year’s La Chaux-de-Fonds Festival’s contemporary music section, Les Amplitudes, runs May16-20, featuring music by Mauro Lanza.

The premiere of Ali Askin’s children’s concert Peterchens Mondfahrt (Peter’s Journey to the Moon) took place on 18 March, 2018 at Munich’s Prinzregententheater. Four-year-old Alma was there, and she gives us a first-hand description of the successful premiere.

Corpi Celesti (Celestial Bodies) for 5 voices, by Lorenzo Pagliei, makes its world premiere at the BBC’s Open Ear concert series in London this April 14. The piece will be performed by the vocal group Exaudi. 

RV 588 is Vivaldi’s ‘other’ Gloria, a composition having many parallels with Vivaldi’s better-known setting of the same text (RV 589). The reduction for voice and piano is now available on sale.  

Mosè in Egitto (1818) is the fourth of the nine opere serie that Rossini composed for Naples between 1815 and 1822. The present reduction for voice and piano, in two volumes, derives from the critical edition of the score, published by Fondazione Rossini Pesaro in collaboration with Casa Ricordi by Charles S. Brauner.
