The members of the Universal Music Publishing Classical Group (Casa Ricordi, Durand-Salabert-Eschig, Ricordi Berlin, Editio Musica Budapest and Ricordi London) are proud to be representing the Danish Edition-S in all of their territories as of January 1, 2017 on an agency basis.

Pipe and Flamingos is the title of the new concerto for clarinet and orchestra by the Serbian composer Isidora Žebeljan, commissioned by Joan Enric Lluna, who’ll be performing the piece on February 9 in Santiago de Compostela, along with the Real Filharmonía de Galicia. Lluna conducts and will be featured on solo clarinet.  

Les excentriques, for six instruments, is the latest composition by Matteo Franceschini, and will be making its world premiere on January 30, 2017 at the Philharmonie de Paris. The lineup features musicians from Ensemble Intercontemporain.

The Italian magazine Classic Voice conducted a recent survey of over one hundred music professionals, including art directors, conductors, critics and musicologists, all highly committed to and involved in today’s contemporary music scene in Europe.

January 30: La Scala hosts the world premiere of Carlo Boccadoro’s Concerto for Piano and Orchestra conducted by Riccardo Chailly and featuring the La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra and soloist Beatrice Rana.
