In Autumn 2024, Nicolas Altstaedt premiered Liza Lim's A Sutured World with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in Munich and the Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam. We talked to the cellist about Liza's work, his collaboration with the composer and about the different ways in which he worked with the two orchestras.

Il 16 ottobre 2024 va in scena la prima esecuzione assoluta della nuova opera di Silvia Colasanti, L'ultimo viaggio di Sindbad, racconto musicale in sette quadri, su libretto di Fabrizio Sinisi liberamente ispirato a testi di Erri De Luca. L'opera è commissionata dal Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, e allestita in collaborazione con RomaEuropa Festival.

The 68th International Festival of Contemporary Music in Venice will run from 26 September to 11 October 2024, directed by Lucia Ronchetti. The programme will feature 12 composers from the Universal Music Publishing Classics & Screen rosters and catalogues.
